Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite US FCC List Reveals Square Design, Key Specs

Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite was discovered in the US FCC database, revealing the design and key specifications. The portable Xiaomi has a square dial with a button on the right side. The listing also includes a picture of the smartwatch’s retail box showing that it has a 1.41-inch HD color display, built-in GPS, and 24-hour heart rate monitoring. Previously, the same watch was reportedly discovered on UL’s (Demko) certification website. The wearable could be a renamed Redmi Watch.

According to the pictures available In the US FCC list, the Mi Watch Lite with the model number REDMIWT02 has a square dial, a button on the right side and a silicone strap. There’s also a picture of the wearable’s retail box showing the key specifications of the smartwatch. According to the information available on the packaging, the smartwatch has a 1.41-inch HD color display, integrated GPS and 24-hour heart rate measurement.

The box also says that the Mi Watch Lite is waterproof up to 50 meters and has swimming stroke detection, multiple fitness modes, and an automatic screen brightness feature. It has a 230 mAh battery and is compatible with handsets running Android 4.4 or iOS 10 and higher.

This isn’t the first time the Mi Watch Lite has been seen before its launch. It was reportedly discovered earlier on the UL (Demko) certification website. The UL (Demko) and FCC lists for the Mi Watch Lite contain the same REDMIWT02 model number. Interestingly, the model number itself suggests that the wearable in question belongs to a Redmi watch, which suggests that the Mi Watch Lite is a renamed Redmi watch as the latter is said to have the same model number.

The Mi Watch Lite is likely the watered down version of the Mi Watch, which launched in China starting at 1,299 CNY (about Rs 14,300). The Mi Watch has a 1.78-inch AMOLED display (368 x 448 pixels) and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC. There is 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of onboard storage and a 570 mAh battery.
