Vivo could be working on a new 5G phone, suggests TENAA Listing

Vivo appears to have a new smartphone in the pipeline for the Chinese market. A Vivo phone was discovered on the Chinese regulatory agency TENAA website with the model number V2031EA with almost every major spec such as cameras, design, RAM and storage options and more. There is currently no name associated with this upcoming Vivo phone, nor has the company confirmed anything. The Vivo phone with model number V2031EA has a triple rear camera and a blue color option.

The TENAA listing the Vivo smartphone with model number V2031EA indicates that the phone is running Android 10. It has an AMOLED display with 6.44 inches full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels). The phone is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor running at 2.4 GHz. The listing also mentions 6GB and 8GB RAM options with 128GB and 256GB storage options. The exact configurations are currently unclear.

Speaking of optics, the Vivo phone is expected to come with a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. There may be a 32-megapixel snapper on the front for selfies and video calls.

The phone is expected to contain a 4,020 mAh battery with support for fast charging. On-board sensors include a gravity sensor, a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, and an on-display fingerprint sensor. This phone comes with 5G support as per the TENAA list. In terms of dimensions, the Vivo phone measures 161 x 74.04 x 7.73mm and weighs 171.7 grams.

In terms of design, the pictures in the TENAA listing show a blue back with the camera module in the left corner. The primary sensor appears to be larger than the other two, suggesting the inclusion of optical image stabilization (OIS). It may be equipped with the Vivo gimbal camera system as seen on the Vivo X51 5G. The front camera cannot be seen clearly. So it is difficult to tell if there is a hole punch design or a notch. The power button and volume down button are on the right.

The TENAA listing was the first discovered Checked by Gizmochina and independently of Gadgets 360. Vivo has not confirmed any details on how to call the phone or when to start it.
