The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G may have the same design as the Galaxy A51

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G appears to have the same design as the Galaxy A51, according to new renders shared by a well-known tipster. The rumored phone could come with a punch for the selfie camera and a quad rear camera setup. The tipster also claims that the phone will have the same screen size as its predecessor and shared some other specs as well. Samsung reportedly had nine A-series smartphones registered as trademarks back in January, and the Galaxy A52 was one of them.

That renders divided by Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) via Voice seem to show the Galaxy A52 with the same design as its predecessor, the Galaxy A51. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 is said to be equipped with a 6.5-inch display that has a hole-punch for the selfie camera. The rendering shows the phone with relatively narrow bezels and a quad rear camera setup in a rectangular camera module identical to the Galaxy A51.

Hemmerstoffer adds that the phone will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy A52 is said to measure 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm, and the rear camera bump increases the thickness to almost 10 mm. Finally, the tipster estimates the phone could be priced at $ 499 (roughly Rs 36,800). To recall, the Galaxy A51 launched in India at Rs. 23,999 for the only 6 GB + 128 GB variant.

In early November, the Galaxy A52 was reportedly spotted on a Geekbench list with the Snapdragon 750G SoC and 6 GB of RAM. The phone is expected to be running Android 11 right away. An older report also suggested that the phone might have a 64 megapixel primary camera, wide angle camera, depth sensor, and macro sensor.

While Samsung didn’t release any official information about the rumored phone in January, the company reportedly had nine A-series models registered as trademarks, and the Galaxy A52 was one of them.
