Samsung teaser suggests launching Galaxy Buds Pro on January 14th

Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro True Wireless Stereo Earbuds (TWS) could be unveiled on Jan. 14 based on a teaser video the company posted on Twitter. The rumored Galaxy Buds Pro is expected to be announced along with the flagship Galaxy S21 smartphone series at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event, which will be streamed live along with CES 2021. Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is expected to be the company’s most expensive, feature-rich TWS headphones yet, coming just a few months after the Galaxy Buds Live launched.

While the January 14th event will focus on the cryptic Galaxy S21 smartphone series Teaser Tweeted by Samsung suggests an audio product also be featured at the Galaxy Unpacked event. There is no endorsement for the product itself, and the teaser only shows an audio product and not specifically headphones or headphones. However, based on rumors and reports over the past few weeks, it is likely that it is the Galaxy Buds Pro.

Various reports have speculated about the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, and at this point it is very easy to get an idea of what to expect from the finished product, which could be launched on January 14th. The Galaxy Buds Pro is expected to have an in-channel fit as opposed to the bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live. There will also be Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), along with other features like gesture control, app support, and support for scalable Bluetooth codec that give the sound quality an edge when used with Samsung devices.

A recent report on the Galaxy Buds Pro suggests that the TWS earbuds will be Samsung’s most expensive to date, priced at $ 199. Given that the Galaxy Buds Live are priced at Rs. 14,990 in India the Galaxy Buds Pro could sell closer to Rs. 20,000. It is therefore in direct competition with Apple AirPods Pro and Sony WF-1000XM3 in the premium TWS segment.

Although Samsung Galaxy Buds Live was only recently launched, the company likely brought forward the launch of Galaxy Buds Pro to address some of the issues with the earlier headset. Although the Galaxy Buds Live looks unique thanks to its bean-like earbud shape, its weird fit makes for a sub-optimal fit and ANC. The sound quality did not quite live up to expectations either.
