Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is reportedly receiving a UI 3.0 update in India

According to a report, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite smartphones in India and Spain will now receive an Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update. The update includes One UI 3.0 features like redesigned UI elements, an improved Quick Panel, an improved dynamic lock screen, and updated Samsung apps. The update also brings the Android security patch for December 2020. However, other phones in this series, such as the Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10 5G, have not yet received the update.

According to a post Office on Samsung Community, first discovered The One UI 3.0 update for Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite from SamMobile, based on Android 11, contains firmware version G770FXXU3DTL1. The update has a file size of 2,053.34 MB and is being introduced in India and Spain. According to a report XDADevelopers also seems to be rolling out the update in the USA, Russia, the United Arab Emirates and Panama. Samsung is expected to release the update in more markets in the coming weeks.

The update offers functions for Android 11 as well as for One UI 3.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. There’s an updated UI design, better animations, chat bubbles, and constant display improvements. Users also get a dedicated area for conversations in the notification shadow and a special widget for media playback. The update also reportedly improves performance and battery optimization.
