Samsung Galaxy M51, Galaxy A31 receives a user interface 2.5 update: report

The Samsung Galaxy M51 and Samsung Galaxy A31 have received the One UI 2.5 update, which brings the Android security patch for November 2020, according to a report. It is based on Android 10 and has improvements for the smartphone and some fixes. The One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy M51 is slated to be available on devices in Egypt, India, Iraq, Russia, and Ukraine. The update for the Galaxy A31 is now being introduced on devices in South Korea.

According to a report From SamMobile, the One UI 2.5 update for Samsung Galaxy M51 contains firmware version M515FXXU1BTK4, while the update for Samsung Galaxy A31 contains firmware version A315NKSU1BTK2. The update brings the usual One UI 2.5 features for the Samsung Galaxy M51 and Samsung Galaxy A31, including improved keyboard settings, Bitmoji support with the always-on display, and Google navigation gestures for third-party apps.

You can download the update by tapping the notification as soon as it comes on your phone. If you haven’t received a notification yet, you can go Settings>Software Update> Download and Install to check and install the software.

According to the report, the UI 2.5 update for Samsung Galaxy M51 in India does not include the features to allow you to choose the duration of single take videos and photos, and there are also no new Wi-Fi indicators.

Samsung is currently testing One UI 3.0 based on Android 11, but continues to update its smartphones with the latest security patch to One UI 2.5. The South Korean tech giant may be releasing One UI 3.5 sometime this month.
