Samsung Galaxy F62 Production Begins in Greater Noida: Report

According to reports, the production of the Samsung Galaxy F62 has started in India. Considered the slimmest phone from Samsung, the Galaxy F62 appears to be the next phone in the relatively new F-series from the South Korean tech giant that launched with the Galaxy F41. While the company has not officially released any information about the rumored Galaxy F62, a report says it will soon be launched in India. The phone was also reportedly spotted on a Geekbench list with the model number SM-E625F.

ONE report Sources cited by 91Mobiles said that production of the Samsung Galaxy F62 has started at the company’s Greater Noida plant. This means the phone will be available in India and the report adds that it will be one of Samsung’s slimmest phones. The phone is expected to be launched in the country in the first quarter of 2021.

A Samsung phone with the model number SM-E625F was discovered on Geekbench last week and the listing suggested some key specifications for the handset. The Exynos 9825 SoC is expected to ship with the same processor as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. The Galaxy F62 may also ship with Android 11. The phone on Geekbench has 6GB of RAM and a single-core rating of 763 with a multi-core rating of 1,952.

Samsung introduced the F series in India with the Galaxy F41 smartphone. It was launched at Rs. 16,999 for the basic model 6 GB + 64 GB and Rs. 17,999 for the memory variant 6 GB + 128 GB. It is powered by the Exynos 9611 SoC and supported by a 6,000 mAh battery. The Galaxy F41 has a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with live focus support.

So far, Samsung has not released any information on the Galaxy F62 and it is unclear if and when the phone will be released in India.
