Samsung Galaxy A02, Galaxy M02 phones on the Wi-Fi Alliance website

The Samsung Galaxy A02 and Samsung Galaxy M02 have leaked multiple times in the past and now the two phones have been spotted on the Wi-Fi certification page. This indicates that Samsung is actively working on new phones of the ‘Galaxy A’ and ‘Galaxy M’ series. The listing gives little information about the technical specifications or functions of the handsets, but it does suggest that the start may not be too far away. The two phones appear to be successors to the Samsung Galaxy M01 and Samsung Galaxy A01 phones introduced last year.

The two rumored phones – Samsung Galaxy A02 and Samsung Galaxy M02 – were listed with model numbers on the Wi-Fi Alliance website SM-A02F and SM-M02SF / DS, respectively. The Samsung Galaxy A02 and Samsung Galaxy M02 phones support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi b / g / n and Wi-Fi Direct. The offers were posted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website just two days ago on November 11th. This suggests that Samsung is actively working on the launch of the two phones in the near future.

In the past, the Samsung Galaxy A02 was discovered on Geekbench with Android 10 software, 2 GB of RAM, and an octa-core Qualcomm SoC, which is expected to be a Snapdragon 450. The phone got a single-core score of 746 and a multi-core score of 3,810. It was also later discovered on the Nemko AS certification body.

The Samsung Galaxy M02 was reportedly spotted on Geekbench with the same model number SM-M025F and listed with 3GB of RAM and an octa-core Qualcomm processor with a base frequency of 1.80 GHz. The phone achieved a single-core score of 128 and a multi-core score of 486. It was listed to run immediately on Android 10. Just earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy M02 was also discovered on the BIS certification page. The phone has reportedly been listed to offer dual SIM functionality.
