Redmi Note 10 may launch as soon as the company’s next smartphone is reportedly discovered on Russia’s EEC certification site. Two Redmi phones were also discovered on the 3C certification website, indicating the Redmi Note 10 series that is believed to be in the works. In the past few weeks, some specs of the upcoming smartphones have also surfaced, leading to speculation about the camera and processor details of the upcoming phones. Redmi Note 9 was launched in April. According to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s usual launch plans, Redmi Note 10 could be announced soon.
During the initial 3C certification, two Redmi phones with the model numbers M2007J22C and M2007J17C were discovered on the website. The listings offer an insight into the possible charging specifications of the upcoming phones. While one M2007J22C with the number 22.5W supports fast charging, the other could support 33W fast charging. Both phones from the Xiaomi sub-brand are also expected to offer 5G support. Gadgets 360 was able to check both entries independently.
Separately was another Redmi phone with a similar model number discovered on the EEC certification body. It has a model number of M2007J22G – similar to the first phone listed on 3C’s website. The last digit of the model numbers usually indicates the country in which it is to be introduced. So the ‘C’ and ‘G’ at the end of the model numbers could refer to the Chinese and global variants of the phone.
Since the launch of Redmi Note 9 in April, it can be speculated that Redmi Note 10 could be next in line.
Although the company has not yet confirmed the new series, the Redmi Note 10 has faced multiple leaks in the past. For starters, it could be the first Redmi-branded phone to have a 108-megapixel primary camera, according to the well-known Weibo Tipster Digital Chat Station. Another report suggests that Redmi Note 10 could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC with 8GB of RAM. The phone is expected to run on Android 10. Redmi will also be equipped with Snapdragon 750G SoC or Snapdragon 865 SoC on its upcoming smartphones.
