Redmi 9 Power will be launched in India on December 15th

Redmi 9 Power will be launched in India on December 15th, claims a tipster. The company’s new smartphone from the company’s Redmi 9 series is said to be a revised version of the Redmi Note 9 4G, which was recently launched in China. The Redmi 9 Power was also recently discovered in the Google Play Console with the model number M2010J19SI. Rumor has it that Xiaomi will bring the Redmi 9 Power to the Indian market in two different versions with 4 GB of RAM as standard.

Tipper Mukul Sharma on Thursday tweeted to propose the launch date of the Redmi 9 Power in India. Sharma said the Redmi 9 Power will be launched in India on December 15th, unless there is a last-minute change. Gadgets 360 couldn’t immediately verify the claim.

Xiaomi has not yet made an official launch announcement. However, the company teased the arrival of its first QLED Mi TV in the country. The new TV model may be available later this month alongside the Redmi 9 Power.

The Redmi 9 series entered the Indian market with the launch of the Redmi 9 Prime in August. Just a few weeks after the Redmi 9 Prime launched, the regular Redmi 9 model was added.

There are a lot of rumors about the upcoming phone. Allegedly, the Redmi 9 Power could be a renamed version of the Redmi Note 9 4G that was launched in China last week – alongside the Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 5G Pro. The new Redmi phone is said to have appeared on the Google Play Console earlier this week with the model number M2010J19SI, which has previously been associated with the Redmi Note 9 4G. It has also been codenamed “Kalk” in the Google database.

The Redmi Note 9 4G was presented in China in three different models, including a first-class memory variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB. However, it is rumored that the Redmi 9 Power is available in the options 4 GB + 64 GB and 4 GB + 128 GB. The smartphone should also have the colors green, blue and black.

Redmi 9 performance specifications (expected)

Since the Redmi 9 Power is speculated as a remake of the Redmi Note 9 4G, the new smartphone will likely share important specifications with the latter. It can come with a 6.67-inch Full HD + display (1,080 x 2,340 pixels), Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, and a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The Redmi 9 Power could also include an 8 megapixel selfie camera and a 6,000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charge.
