OnePlus Nord receives OxygenOS 10.5.10 update with December 2020 patch

OnePlus Nord has started receiving an update for users worldwide. The update includes the latest Android security patch released in December 2020, general bug fixes, and improved system stability. The version number of the update for India is OxygenOS 10.5.10.AC01DA, for Europe OxygenOS 10.5.10.AC01BA and the global version number OxygenOS 10.5.10.AC01AA. OnePlus is rolling out the update gradually, which means it will reach a small percentage of users before a broader rollout.

After this information In OnePlus forums, the changelog for the OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 10.5.10 update suggests that the phones get the December 2020 security patch and the Google Mobile Services (GMS) package September 2020. It also brings general bug fixes and improves overall system stability. Indian users will get the OnePlus Store app which will allow users to purchase OnePlus products. The company says the app can be uninstalled.

As already mentioned, the OxygenOS 10.5.10 update for OnePlus Nord will be rolled out gradually. “The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today (December 28th), and we will begin a wider rollout in a few days,” the blog announced. If you’re a OnePlus Nord user and you haven’t received a notification, you can check it manually by going to Settings>System> System Updates. Make sure you have enough battery power and a good WiFi connection to download and install the update.

OnePlus recently announced that OnePlus North will receive quarterly security updates through July 2023. The dual SIM smartphone (Nano) has a 6.44-inch Full HD + display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC with Adreno 620 GPU and up to 12 GB LPDDR4x RAM. The integrated memory of up to 256 GB cannot be expanded using a microSD card.

OnePlus Nord comes with a quad rear camera that includes a Sony IMX586 primary sensor at 48 megapixels, a secondary sensor at 8 megapixels, a macro shooter at 2 megapixels and a depth shooter at 5 megapixels. There are two cameras for selfies – a Sony IMX616 primary sensor with 32 megapixels and a secondary sensor with 8 megapixels. The phone comes with a 4,115 mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging technology. The phone also has a built-in fingerprint sensor.
