OnePlus Nord N100 receives new OxygenOS update with security patch for December

OnePlus Nord N100 phones will now receive a new software update with the Android security patch for December 2020. The OnePlus Nord N100 update is available in Europe as OxygenOS 10.5.5 and in North America as OxygenOS 10.5.4 and also offers a range of optimizations at system level. There are also improvements to the camera features and network stability of the affordable OnePlus phone. Just like the OxygenOS updates in the past, the latest software is rolling out in batches for OnePlus Nord N100 users.

The Chinese company has Posted The details and changelog of the new OxygenOS software for the OnePlus Nord N100 on the OnePlus forums. It highlights that the update optimizes the system’s power consumption and adds a button to Quick Settings that allows users to toggle between silent, ring and vibrate modes. The new software also offers an improved user experience for the camera app and better network stability.

In terms of bug fixes, the OxygenOS update addresses an issue where the phone won’t wake up under certain circumstances. There is also a solution to a low probability call noise problem.

OnePlus has released two different OxygenOS software versions for the OnePlus Nord N100. Although both versions contain the same list of bug fixes, improvements, and optimizations, there are some changes in the build for users in North America.
