The technical data of the Mi 11 Pro display was leaked by a tipster. The new Xiaomi flagship is said to have a QHD + display. This is different from the Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10T Pro, which are both equipped with the lower Full HD + display. The Mi 11 Pro is also said to have an improved refresh rate to provide a smoother viewing experience over the existing Mi-series flagships. The Mi 11 Pro is expected to debut alongside the Mi 11 early next year.
As discovered from Android-focused blog PlayfulDroid, a tipster sent On Weibo, the Mi 11 Pro will be equipped with a 120 Hz display that has QHD + resolution. The reported refresh rate is higher than the 90 Hz rate available on the Mi 10 Pro. However, this is surpassed by the Mi 10T Pro with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
According to the tipster, the Mi 11 Pro also comes with a single selfie camera sensor that is visible in the top left corner of the screen. The phone is also rumored to retain the curved display design that was previously used on the Mi 10 and Mi 10T series.
The details of the Mi 11 Pro come just a few days after the Mi 11 appeared on the benchmark website Geekbench with the model number M2012K11C. It is speculated that both the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC and will run on Android 11 with a new MIUI skin. The Mi 11 of the new series is said to have a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera sensor with a pixel size of 0.8 micrometers on the back.
Xiaomi has not even started circulating the first teasers for the Mi 11 series. However, if we look at the company’s historical records, the new smartphones could hit the market sometime in February.
The new series Mi 11 Pro is also expected to support Xiaomi’s 80W wireless fast charging, which was unveiled in October, and will be able to wirelessly charge a 4,000 mAh battery in just 19 minutes.
