Xiaomi recently confirmed the launch of Mi 10i in the country for January 5th. Rumor has it that the smartphone is a revamped Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, with minor changes. Xiaomi has a banner on it Mi.com Page showing the Pacific Sunrise color of Mi 10i. The same color option was also made teased on the Amazon India website.

The Mi 10i’s Pacific Sunrise color will likely appear alongside the blues and blacks that leaked last month.

In addition to the new color, Xiaomi has published a teaser video on its social media channels that suggests a battery life of at least one day for the Mi 10i. The video also gives us a glimpse of the upcoming phone from above.

Earlier this week, Xiaomi India’s managing director Manu Kumar Jain confirmed that the company plans to launch Mi 10i as the next smartphone on January 5th. Mi 10i specs (expected)

Rumor has it that the Mi 10i is just a renamed version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G that was launched in China in November. It is speculated that the phone will come standard with 6GB and 8GB of RAM options and 128GB of internal storage. It has also been confirmed that there is a 108 megapixel primary sensor in a quad rear camera and it has 5G support.

If speculation about the renamed Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is true, the Mi 10i could contain a 4,820 mAh battery and a 6.67-inch Full HD + display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels). The phone will likely also run on the ready-to-use Android-based MIUI 12.
