iQoo 7 Alleged 12 GB RAM variant discovered on Geekbench

The flagship iQoo 7 smartphone was reportedly spotted on Geekbench, suggesting the smartphone might come with a 12GB variant of RAM. The company has already announced that it will launch the iQoo 7 BMW Edition with an expanded version of LPDDR5 RAM. This special edition is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. iQoo 7 will also be the official gaming phone for the KPL Games (King Pro League) esports event in China. The smartphone will be launched in China on January 11th.

According to the Geekbench listing For a smartphone with the model number V2049A, which is presumably the upcoming iQoo 7, the handset may have 12 GB of RAM and can run on Android 11 right away. 1,139 points were achieved in the single-core test and 3,746 points in the multi-core test. iQoo has already confirmed that the BMW edition of the phone will come with an expanded version of the LPDDR5 RAM. Under the hood there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship SoC, which will be accompanied by an expanded version of the UFS 3.1 storage.

In addition to the BMW Edition, a regular version of the iQoo 7 is expected to come onto the market. However, the company has not disclosed details of the regular version. The presence of multiple variants of the phone was also hinted at in another report. In terms of charging, iQoo said on its Weibo handle that the iQoo 7 series will have 120W fast charge support. Presumably this includes both the regular and BMW editions of the phone.

In the iQoo 7 BMW Edition, the iQoo logo is located directly under the rear camera module next to the flash and is striped in three colors. The phone has a triple rear camera. The company recently announced that it will unveil the iQoo 7 BMW Edition in China on January 11th at 7:30 p.m. local time (5:00 p.m. EST) in China. iQoo 7 will be the official slot machine for the KPL Games (King Pro League) esports event in China, which takes place in the country every fall and spring.
