Huawei Sound, Porsche Design GT2, SuperCharge Wireless Charger launched

The launch of the Huawei Mate 40 series was accompanied by some other devices that were introduced side by side. The list includes a 65W wireless car charger, 50W charging stand, 12,000mAh power bank that supports 66W charging, and a new case that uses a ring of light to brighten images. The new launches also include a smaller, louder and more affordable version of the Bluetooth X speaker Sound X from Huawei, which was developed in collaboration with the French audio company Devialet, and a new Porsche Design version of the Huawei Watch GT 2.

Huawei SuperCharge upgrades

Huawei has upgraded its SuperCharge Wireless Charger Stand from its previous capacity of 40W up to 50W fast charging. It has the same vertical design that allows it to be tilted up to 60 degrees. It has two charging coils and a phone can be placed on it both horizontally and vertically. The new charger has the same silent fan functionality for heat dissipation.

The company also launched two new car chargers today. The wireless car charger Huawei SuperCharge with clamp bracket and integrated power storage. You can charge your phone for up to 30 minutes after turning off the vehicle. It also has a USB Type-C input port for connecting accessories like a dash cam. There is also a wired version of this SuperCharge car. A much smaller cigarette lighter charger comes with the SuperCharge Wireless Car Charger, which gives you an additional port to charge 5W.

Next up is the Huawei SuperCharge Power Bank. It has an energy storage capacity of 12,000 mAh with three 4,020 mAh batteries. It has a USB Type-A and a USB Type-C port, as well as four LEDs that show the battery level. According to Huawei, the power bank can charge both smartphones and laptops.

It is said to be a smaller but more powerful version of the Huawei Sound X, a portable Bluetooth speaker that was launched last year. The new speaker supports LDAC, a high-resolution audio coding technology for wireless listening, and has a 3.5 mm AUX input and Bluetooth. The package contains a woofer with two passive units and three tweeters that deliver a frequency response of 55 Hz to 40 kHz. The speaker was launched in a single black color option and weighs approximately 2.2 kg. As mentioned earlier, it was co-developed by the luxury audio brand Devialet.

Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2

The new product launch is a full titanium version of the Huawei GT 2. The new watch also has a ceramic bottom and a snap buckle. The GT 2 has a battery life of 14 days and runs on the Kirin A1 SoC from Huawei. It supports Bluetooth v5.1 and has a built-in GPS.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro Ring Light Case

The new housing in a Pearl White color variant comes with a ring that contains 54 LEDs and opens up to give selfies additional light. The case is designed to automatically and wirelessly draw power from the Mate 40 Pro. The intensity of the light can be controlled with three modes – mixed, cool and warm – which you can switch between depending on the ambient light conditions.

The prices and availability of the Huawei Sound, as well as the chargers and accessories introduced on Thursday with the Huawei Mate 40, have not yet been announced. The Mate 40 series, which also includes the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro +, was launched for the Mate 40 8GB + 12GB version at a starting price of EUR 899 (approx. Rs. 78,000) .
