HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G launched with Snapdragon 690 5G SoC, quad rear cameras

The HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G was launched in Taiwan as a mid-range offering and has 5G connectivity. The phone has been listed on the official website with no announcement or event and is available in a single RAM and storage configuration. There are two color options available for HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G. The phone has narrow bezels on the sides and on top with a relatively thick chin. It has a hole-punch design for the selfie camera and a quad rear camera setup.

HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G price, availability

The HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G costs TWD 11,990 (roughly Rs. 31,300) for the only 8GB + 128GB variant that does the Company says is an early bird price until February 28th. After that, the phone will cost TWD 12,990 in Taiwan (about Rs 34,000). It is available in Star Blue and Mirage Purple colors, with the first shipping starting January 21st and the second shipping starting February 4th.

Until now, HTC has not released any information about the international pricing or availability of the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G.

The dual-SIM HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G (Nano) runs on Android 10 and has a 6.7-inch full HD + display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an aspect ratio of 20 : 9. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 690 5G SoC and has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.

In terms of optics, the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G has a quad rear camera that has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with a 1: 1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle 1: 2.2 – Includes lens and a 2 mega-pixel lens. Megapixel macro shooter with an aperture of f / 2.4 and a 2 mega-pixel sensor with a f / 2.4 lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16 megapixel camera housed in a hole punch in the top center of the phone.

The connectivity options of the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G include dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS and a USB Type-C port for charging. The sensors on board include ambient light sensors, proximity sensors, gyroscopes, gravity sensors, compass and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18 W fast charge (QC4.0 +). In terms of dimensions, the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G measures 167.1 x 78.1 x 9.4 mm and weighs 205 grams.
