Gionee F8 Neo with Octa-Core SoC launched in India

The Gionee F8 Neo was launched in India as a budget smartphone for users who want an upgrade from a feature phone at a price of just over Rs. 5,000. The new phone has pre-installed features like Face Unlock, Slow Motion, Beauty Mode and Night Mode to attract young buyers. The Gionee F8 Neo also offers gesture support to give feature phone users a smarter user experience. In addition, the smartphone offers memory expansion up to 256 GB and a selfie camera. The Gionee F8 Neo is also available in three different color options.

Gionee F8 Neo price in India was set at Rs. 5,499 for the single memory variant with 2 GB RAM + 32 GB. The phone is available in black, blue and red. In addition, it is sold in the country through nearly two lakh mobile retailers that are part of the local Udaan retail network.

The Gionee F8 Neo runs on Android 10 and has a 5.45-inch HD + display (720 x 1,440 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. An octa-core SoC from Unisoc is located under the hood ( formerly Spreadtrum) SC9863 and 2 GB RAM. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera sensor on the back, which is coupled with an LED flash. On the front there is also a 5 megapixel camera sensor – together with an LED flash – especially for selfies and video chats.

The Gionee F8 Neo has 32 GB of onboard memory that can be expanded using a microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also features a Gem Edge design on the back for a distinctive look. However, no fingerprint sensor is included. The smartphone has a 3,000 mAh battery.
