From WandaVision to Tandav, you can stream the following in January 2021

The wait for new content from Marvel Cinematic Universe is almost over. January 2021 will bring the first entry in the fourth phase of the MCU – WandaVision – after COVID-19 stripped us of everything Marvel for the whole of 2020. Saif Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra will be closer to home with his original series Tandav and the Netflix original film The White Tiger thanks to their respective engagements in the Amazon in 2021. After a home birth ends in tragedy, a woman (Kirby) has to deal with her husband (Shia LaBeouf) and domineering mother (Ellen Burstyn), and lead a lawsuit with the midwife (Molly Parker). Sarah Snook and Iliza Shlesinger also star.

Dickinson

When: January 8th
Where: Apple TV +

The black comedy from the time of Hailee Steinfeld with modern sensibilities returns for another run with 10 episodes. Toby Huss, Jane Krakowski, Adrian Enscoe, Anna Baryshnikov and Ella Hunt play the leading roles. Nick Kroll and Timothy Simons will join them as guest stars. In contrast to season 1, which premiered in full, Dickinson Season 2 will be released with three episodes, followed by a new one every week.

American gods

Guardian Star Regina King makes her directorial debut with this adaptation of the play of the same name by Kemp Powers – Powers also wrote the screenplay – which fictionalized events on a real night in February 1964, as world boxing champion Muhammad Ali (Eli Goree), Nation of The Islamic Leader Malcolm X (Kinglsey Ben-Adir), NFL player Jim Brown (Aldis Hodge), and singer-songwriter Sam Cooke (Leslie Odom Jr.) met in Miami after Ali’s victory over Sonny Liston.

Before we see him again as the Falcon in the MCU, Anthony Mackie will play an Android super soldier who works with a drone pilot (Damson Idris) who has no field training to stop a nuclear attack in this sci-fi action film. Saif Ali Khan directs this political drama from Ali Abbas Zafar – writer and director of sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat – which will provide a glimpse of “the dark corners of Indian politics”. Zafar is also the director of Tandav, but he didn’t write it. Article 15 Co-author Gaurav Solanki is responsible for the scripts.

WandaVision

Marvel’s first Disney + series – it costs as much as an MCU movie with one reported $ 150 million budget – unlike anything it has ever done. It functions as a sitcom that alternates between decades (black and white TV from the 50s or office-style mockumentary), but also kind of set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. WandaVision will also be the first entry in the fourth phase of the MCU.

As the name suggests, it follows the characters of Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), lovers who were forever torn apart by the events of Avengers: Infinity War. An adult Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) from Captain Marvel, Research Associate Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) of Thor: Dark World and FBI Agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) of Ant-Man and the Wasp are also involved. Kathryn Hahn, Jolene Purdy, Fred Melamed, Debra Jo Rupp and Asif Ali also have roles.

A total of six episodes that are broadcast weekly. WandaVision’s events will be directly linked to Doctor Strange in the Multiversum of Madness slated to hit theaters in March 2022.

Batwoman

Javicia Leslie takes on Ruby Rose (she quit) in the title role for the second season of the DC series, with the change being written to the show: Leslie plays Ryan Wilder, not Kate Kane.
