Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released as the launch title for PlayStation 5 next week and will be available alongside PlayStation 4 users as well. The 2018 predecessor, Marvel’s Spider-Man, surprised the world as one of the most exciting and widely accepted superhero games in recent years. While the previous Spider-Man game allowed players to take control of Peter Parker, the new title revolves around the adventures of Miles Morales, who appeared as a non-player character (NPC) in Marvel’s Spider-Man. The upcoming game promises to take full advantage of the PS5’s hardware capabilities, including real-time ray tracing, faster load times, and the haptic feedback on DualSesnse controllers.

When Spider-Man: Miles Morales was first announced in June, the game was touted. “an expansion and improvement of the previous game” by PlayStation Europe boss Simon Rutter. However, developer Insomniac Games has in a Tweet that it will indeed be a game in its own right. But Spider-Man: Miles Morales won’t be as long as Marvel’s Spider-Man, whose main story campaign took a little under 20 years to complete. The new game is about half as long.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales release date

Spider-Man: Miles Morale, a PlayStation exclusive, will be released on November 12th.

While all PlayStation 4 users will get their hands on the game that day, PS5 users will only get access to it in countries where the next-generation console is first introduced – the US, Canada, Japan, Korea, Mexico and Australia and New Zealand. Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available in two versions: Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition. While the former only includes the game, the Ultimate Edition also features Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PS5. It should be noted that the Ultimate Edition is only available to PS5 users.

The standard edition is priced at Rs. 3,999 / $ 49.99 and the Ultimate Edition costs Rs. 4,999 / $ 69.99 USD. After pre-ordering the game, customers will receive several digital bonuses, including the never-before-seen TRACK suit, the Gravity Well gadget, additional skill points and, last but not least, the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Fit.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Gameplay

Spider-Man: Miles Morales brings Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City that Never Sleeps one year after the event of the previous game’s DLC. You take control of Miles Morales, who just trained with Peter Parker for a year. Morales must protect New York City from a gang war between Roxxon Energy (in the previous game) and a high-tech terrorist group called Underground, led by the crafty Tinkerer.

As seen in the gameplay trailer, Spider-Man: Miles Morales promises to be as fun as it is exciting as the first release.
