Apple stops selling Intel-powered MacBook Air

Apple has stopped selling the Intel-based MacBook Air in its online shop. Apple unveiled its in-house M1 chip on Tuesday, November 10th, at the One More Thing virtual event. Equipped with the new silicon, the Cupertino giant brought the MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro 13-inch and the Mac mini onto the market for the occasion. Interested customers can still opt for the Intel-based MacBook Pro 13-inch, but the non-M1 laptop is only available at the higher end of the price range. Likewise, a non-M1 Mac mini is only available at a higher price.
